Meet Our Orthodontist: Dr. Stephen Yamodis, DMD, MS
Our orthodontist, Dr. Stephen Yamodis was raised in Talent, Oregon, and attended college at UCSB. Dr. Yamodis graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2005. After serving four years as a general dentist for the U.S. Navy he received his orthodontic certification from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine in 2012.
One of his greatest life experiences was the opportunity to serve as a Peace Corps volunteer in Bolivia from 1998-2000. He lived in the small Andes Mountain community of Pinaya at the base of Mt. Illimani. He was tasked with the construction of a gravity flow water system for the community.
Dr. Yamodis and his wife Nadia have been married for 19 years. They have two children, a daughter Sophia, and a son Stephen II. Dr. Yamodis enjoys spending time with family, traveling and playing basketball.
Dr. Yamodis is proud to join the team at Stubbs Orthodontics and looks forward to meeting past, current, and future patients. He has had the opportunity to see many parts of the world and has been exposed to many cultures. He strives to treat everyone with respect and courtesy.
Dr. Yamodis is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, and Florida Association of Orthodontists.
